The enemy
THE COMMON STAGE
SATURDAY 25 July
The Enemy is a Coventry-born indie rock trio that burst onto the UK scene in 2007 with their swaggering, high-energy sound, drawing comparisons to Oasis and The Jam.
Fronted by Tom Clarke alongside Andy Hopkins and Liam Watts, the band quickly gained momentum through explosive live shows and early singles like “40 Days and 40 Nights” and “Away From Here.”
Their debut album, We’ll Live and Die in These Towns went straight to No.1, cementing their place as one of the era’s defining British guitar bands.
After a hiatus in 2016, The Enemy made a triumphant return in 2022 with a sold-out UK reunion tour and festival appearances, and are now working on new material for their highly anticipated next chapter.
