We’ve said it before, but this really does feel special.
Founded by three friends from Southend in 2024, Lazydays Festival is expected to welcome more than 12,000 people to its 2026 edition, following 8,000 festival goers joining its community in 2025. It continues to grow into one of the fastest-rising independent cultural events in the south east.
“This is by far the biggest lineup Southend has ever seen, and we’re incredibly proud of how Lazydays is growing. The response to the Phase 1 announcement shows just how much appetite there is for something bold, vibrant and independent in the city.”
“There’s still loads to come, from local and emerging artists to comedy, silent disco DJs, talks and demonstrations, kids' entertainment, roaming performers and incredible street food. Lazydays is about more than the music; it’s about creating a community - a weekend that feels alive from start to finish.”
Andy, Elliott & Mike.
And we’re not done yet. There’s still loads to come
