THIS YEAR’S BIG CHANGES

Lazydays is built on community and we listen to your feedback and make improvements every year to create an amazing festival experience.

A huge thank you to everyone who fed back to us after last year’s festival. We’re delighted to announce the changes we’re making thanks to your input!

🕚 Longer opening hours

We’re giving you more bang for your buck this year by opening 3 HOURS EARLIER on Friday, now 14:00 - 23:00.

🎤 Bigger artists!

We heard you wanted bigger artists so we took a giant leap and doubled our artist budget. We're bringing the biggest lineup Southend has ever seen!

🍻 Better bars

We’re increasing our bar capacity so you can get your drinks without fuss and get straight back to the action. For the first time, we’re adding a dedicated ‘no and low alcohol’ bar and upgrading our cocktail bar.

 ⏰ No clashes

To make sure you don’t miss a moment, we’re alternating the programming between our main stage and second stage for non-stop entertainment all day long!

🚽 Additional toilets

There’s nothing worse than queuing when you need to go! We’re adding more toilets to make sure you’re not standing around cross-legged for too long.

🎪 A BIG upgrade to our Big Hop stage

We’ve levelled things up this year. Expect bigger artists such as The Subways, Artful Dodger and Fun Lovin’ Criminals with a bigger sound, enhanced lighting and a seriously upgraded tent to match the energy. The Big Hop isn’t just back, it’s going to blow the roof off.

🍲 More food options

Epic food is always on our menu! This year we’re introducing a wider variety of cuisine catering to all tastes and dietary requirements from Indian to pizza, Mexican to cheese toasties.

🤣 New experiences

We’re adding a new third stage, programmed in collaboration with Essex promoters and grassroots venues, giving local and emerging artists a dedicated platform. Plus, The Thirsty Moose is getting an upgrade too, becoming its own venue stacked with stand-up comedy from Little Smash Comedy, a silent disco, quizzes and more!

🎡 Vintage fairground

Because who doesn’t like a bit of old school fun, and what is a festival by the seaside without a little fairground.

🚗 Better transport connections

There’s no parking at Priory Park so we always encourage using public transport to keep things green and easy. The free shuttle from Southend Central station is back for 2026 to make coming by train even easier, and we’ve added a hassle-free Park & Ride option at London Southend Airport. Parking is just £15 per day, with a shuttle bus running directly from the car park to Lazydays Festival gates.

🍾 A VIP Area upgrade

We’re moving the VIP area closer to the main stage for a more premium viewing experience.

There’ll be extra posh loos, more furniture and premium snacks for those wanting to make their day out a little extra (limited upgrades available if you fancy being fancy!).

🧒 More free children's tickets and activities

Kids under 11 continue to go free! We’ve upped the number of free kids tickets available and invested more in kids activities to ensure they have a wicked time. Happy kids, happy parents, right?

As always, we’re keen to hear your thoughts and ideas. If there’s anything else you’d like to see at Lazydays 2026, give us a shout!

We can’t wait to welcome you all back to the park this July.
