An Essex homecoming, 16 years in the making
Born and raised in Witham, Olly's journey from Essex to becoming one of the UK's biggest pop stars has been nothing short of extraordinary.
With five UK number-one albums, four number-one singles, six BRIT Award nominations and more than five million albums sold worldwide, he's built a career full of unforgettable music and incredible live performances.
But this show is particularly special. Olly last performed in Southend back in 2011 at the Cliffs Pavilion. Now, 16 years later, he's returning to headline a festival founded by three mates from just down the road.
Bringing one of Essex's biggest musical exports back to our hometown for a huge summer celebration is a pretty incredible feeling.
Our biggest Lazydays lineup yet
Olly completes our 2027 headliners, joining Dizzee Rascal on Friday 23 July and Kaiser Chiefs on Saturday 24 July, with Madness kicking things off at our special Opening Concert on Thursday 22 July, ticketed separately from the main festival.
And there's plenty more to come!
Following an unforgettable 2026 featuring Tinie Tempah, Feeder, Sister Sledge, The Feeling and Natalie Imbruglia, we're building our biggest Lazydays yet.
We've already sold more than 10,000 tickets in less than three months, with nine months still to go until we open the gates at Priory Park.
And we're only just getting started, with lots more artists and surprises still to be revealed.
No ordinary weekend
Lazydays has always been about much more than the headliners.
Across five stages and venues, expect an eclectic mix of live music, comedy, silent discos, family entertainment, curious characters, street theatre and unexpected performances.
Alongside the entertainment, we'll be bringing together some of our favourite independent breweries, brilliant cocktails, delicious street food and plenty of those little Lazydays touches that make the weekend special.
Founded right here in Southend in 2024, Lazydays has always been about creating something different for our hometown, celebrating independent businesses, emerging talent and bringing people together for a truly memorable summer weekend.
