We’re so excited to announce that Kaiser Chiefs will headline Lazydays Festival on Saturday 24 July 2027, bringing one of Britain’s biggest festival bands to Priory Park.
A massive booking for Lazydays and Southend
Since we started Lazydays, our ambition has always been to create something special here in Southend. A festival that feels proudly local and independent, while bringing genuinely huge artists to our home town.
Kaiser Chiefs is a massive step forward for Lazydays and exactly the kind of booking we dreamed about when this all began.
Across more than two decades, the band have become one of the most recognisable names in British music, with a catalogue absolutely made for a summer festival crowd.
Get ready for some serious festival anthems
From I Predict a Riot and Ruby to Everyday I Love You Less and Less, Never Miss a Beat and Oh My God, Kaiser Chiefs have delivered some of the biggest indie anthems of the last 20 years.
Their live shows have become legendary for their energy, huge singalongs and the kind of moments that make thousands of people completely lose their voices together.
We already know what Priory Park is going to sound like when those opening notes hit.
This is going to be one of those Lazydays sets people talk about for years.

Kaiser Chiefs become the latest huge name confirmed for Lazydays Festival 2027, after Dizzee Rascal was announced for Friday 23 July 2027 - and we’re only just getting started!
Expect another packed weekend of live music, DJs, comedy, great food and drink and everything else that makes Lazydays, Lazydays.
